The history of Hijo de Diego Molina Reyes S.L. dates back to 1876, when the great-grandfather of the current managing director began making anisette. The business was passed on to his sons in 1910, under a prestigious brand name that still exists today.

Who we are
El Anís de Raza was born in 1943, but to find out more about its history we have to go back to 1876, when the art of distillation began in the family, creating a brand and giving birth to a distillery that to this day is still one of Rute's companies, founded by Rafael Reyes Rodríguez.

New concepts
Double-distilled sweet anise liqueur, a feature that distinguishes it from our traditional sweet anise and gives it a more intense aniseed flavour. In our copper stills, 55º extra dry anise is double distilled, then reduced with water and 35º sugar syrup to obtain this sweet anise, to which we add a macerate of orange peel and fennel, using the old distillation recipes. Our traditional aniseed, in its best version.

New products
Our Premium Gin, distilled with juniper berries, coriander, cardamom, lime, angelica, lemon and aromas of orange and orange blossom, giving it its own character, inspired by the aroma of Cordoba.
